Andera Partners, a leading player in sponsorless transactions together with its Andera Acto team, was chosen by the Founders of the Gosto Group to participate in the capital restructuring of the Group in providing support for and accelerating its international development.
Established in 1998 in Wasquehal, the Gosto Group is a multichannel distributor of commercial, office and warehouse furniture, marketed via twelve owner websites including Gosto.com or Espace Equipement ; and directly via its physical showrooms. The Gosto Group has a unique position and distinguishes itself by its direct to customers (DtoC) approach, with a thorough knowledge of its value chain, eliminating intermediaries between suppliers and final clients. Faced with competitors with a broad and extensive offer, the Gosto Group voluntarily limited its range of references in order to provide products with the best possible price-quality ratio, by means of a controlled offer, developed based on inter-compatible components able to intervene in many different combinations of products and immediate availability.
With a turnover of more than 40 million Euros and sustained growth since its creation, the Gosto Group now seeks to rely on this partnership with Andera Acto in pursuing its organic development and above all, accelerate its external growth, specifically through the acquisition of companies in Europe, by benefiting from a still highly fragmented furniture distribution market.
This sponsorless transaction facilitates the capital increase of Arnaud Gonnet, who takes over as president of the Gosto Group, and of the management team, while offering partial liquidity to the Founders who continue to support the development of the Gosto Group.
Regarding this phase, Arnaud Gonnet, states that “ This partnership with Andera Acto and the transfer of Michaël and Christophe must be the starting point of a new development phase of the Gosto Group. After having strengthened our bases and tested our unique and disruptive model, we are now ready to pursue our organic growth in France on our two verticals (office furniture and warehouse equipment) by means of a combination of external growths – the opening of new international commercial websites for warehouse equipment. To achieve this, I am proud to rely on co-shareholders and teams fully invested in the success of the Gosto Group and promoting the values which Michaël, Christophe and I, have sought to instil since its inception in 1998 .”
Michaël Motte and Christophe Bigo add : “ We are delighted about this transfer to Arnaud and the managers and to welcome Andera Acto by our sides for this new development phase of the Gosto Group. We are convinced that their support together with the commitment of all of the teams will be a catalyst for the growth of the group on the French and European level. ”
Arnaud Faure comments : “ Gosto benefits from a unique position on its market as a hybrid player eliminating any intermediary between suppliers and clients, with a strong digital base, enabling it to externalise strong organic growth and to obtain profits largely greater than that of the market. We are delighted to partner with a management team with a proven track record and to assist them in their future development phase on the international level. ”
